About me

Hi I’m Rob Pierce ;  a lifelong guitarist performer teacher and proud father and grandfather. I know what it’s like to balance music family work and the occasional scout meeting or a junior football game (my daughter was a Cheerleader)

For over 30 years I’ve had the joy of teaching hundreds of students from age 8 to 80. Some wanted to rock out some wanted to write songs. Others just wanted to finally learn how to play that guitar that’s been sitting in the corner.

Whatever your goal is I’m here to help you get there; with patience humor and plenty of real world experience

What I Teach
I cover a wide range of styles: rock, pop jazz ,country and fingerstyle. I also enjoy teaching music theory, improvisation, songwriting, playing by ear and some basic music production

Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced player lessons are always tailored to you and your goals

On Stage and Off.
Along with teaching I’ve spent decades performing as both a solo artist and a band member (over 1,500 live performances). I’ve played everywhere from country clubs and corporate events to Irish pubs, dive bars and summer festivals

Those experiences shape how I teach because I want my students to not just play music but to feel confident and expressive doing it

A Bit About Me
Outside of music I’ve been a scout leader a sideline regular at my daughter’s cheerleading events and a proud supporter of my kids and grandkids

I understand the time and commitment families make to lessons and I make sure every minute counts

If you’re looking for guitar lessons that are down to earth customized to your goals and backed by decades of teaching and performing I’d love to work with you.
