Guitar Lesson Rates and Policy


30 minute lesson – $25
45 minute lesson – $35
60 minute lesson – $40

 

Lessons are billed monthly in advance and payment is due by the first lesson of each month.
Payments can be made by cash, cheque, or bank transfer.

A $10 late fee may apply to payments made more than 7 days past the due date.
Payments are non-refundable. If you choose to stop lessons partway through the month, no refunds are given for unused lessons.


 

Scheduling and Attendance

Lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute weekly time slots.
Please arrive on time, as lost time due to lateness cannot be made up.
Regular attendance is important to steady progress, so a consistent schedule is encouraged.


 

Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are not refundable and cannot be made up, except in emergencies.Lessons cancelled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled within 30 days, depending on availability.

If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without notice, that lesson will be forfeited.
If I must cancel a lesson, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible or credited to the next billing cycle.


 

Materials and Practice
Students are responsible for their own books, tuners, strings, and any other supplies recommended during lessons.

Regular practice is essential. Aim for at least 20 to 30 minutes per day, depending on your level and goals.


 

Studio Etiquette

Parents are welcome to sit in during lessons if space allows.Please avoid bringing food or open drinks into the lesson area.
Bring a tuned, well-maintained guitar to each lesson.


 

Summer and Holiday Policy

 Lessons are held year-round, including through the summer.
Please let me know in advance if you plan to take time off.
The studio will be closed on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.


 

Discontinuation of Lessons
If you plan to stop lessons, please give at least two weeks notice.
I reserve the right to discontinue lessons in cases of consistent missed payments, repeated absences, or inappropriate behavior.
